Jude Bellingham admits his 'biggest dream' would be emulating as England captain, but accepts it will take time for the ambition to bear fruit.

And while the 19-year-old has already captained his club for some matches, he has his sights set on wearing the armband for adrianalimaporn.com his country - even if there are plenty of other candidates ahead of him for the role. 

When posed the question to the midfielder after the 2-0 win at Wembley, Bellingham replied: 'That would be the biggest dream and the biggest honour in football I think is to captain your country. 

'There's a long pecking order that I highly respect and I'll wait my turn. In the meantime it's picking up what I can learn from them.

This is the best place to do it.'

In the wake of the two-goal win, Bellingham also hailed the mood in the camp, as he believes they are capable of turning out tough results when required, as well as a degree of bringing the beautiful game to England matches. 

Bellingham said: 'It feels like we have a really good atmosphere in the changing room. 

'We want to express ourselves but there's a side of us with a bit of nastiness.

We need to cover all sides of the game and I think we're doing that really well at the moment.'

After two wins from their opening Euro 2024 qualifiers, England sit top of Group C, in a quintet which also includes North Macedonia and Malta alongside the teams the Three Lions have beaten this week. 

Bellingham now returns to domestic duty, where Borussia Dortmund face a tasty challenge next weekend when they take on Bayern Munich in Thomas Tuchel's first game in charge of the hosts.
